We cover all the major specifications including MIM, QGC, Santos, Safer Together, BMA, and Glencore. We will work with you to review the specific requirements of your site to ensure your Vehicle meets all requirements. Also, because we have our own workshop and team of qualified mechanics and fitters, we are able to change vehicle specs to meet any mine site requirement.
Yes. Drawing on industry-leading maintenance expertise, FleetCrew technicians perform consistent, quality, preventative maintenance to reduce cost and risk of breakdowns. This ensures that small issues don’t turn into time consuming larger ones.
Our fleet of quality Toyota Vehicles range in age from less than 1 year old to less than 4 years.
All our hire vehicles receive extensive detailing before each hire. We also have qualified inspectors in our team who are able to issue Weed and Seed Certificates and/or Weed Hygiene Declarations upon request. The certificates and/or declarations must be requested at the time of booking and no later than 24 hours of pick up.
All of our 4WD hire vehicles and a selection of our 2WD hire vehicles have tow bars fitted. You can tow within the Vehicle Manufactures’ allowable towing limits. If you are planning to tow with our Vehicle, it is best that you inform us so that we can check all towing connections and also ensure you have everything you need including an electric brakes controller or other requirements.
Please note that for safety reasons, we do not allow our recreational vehicles to tow on the beach.
Yes definitely, we have a broad range of vehicles available for personal and recreational use. Whether you need a 4WD for a trip around Australia or just to K’gari (Fraser Island), a 12 seater bus to show some visitors around SEQ or a car while yours is out of action, we have a vehicle for you.
For non-account customers, the licensed driver or drivers identified on the rental agreement may drive the Vehicle.
For our account customers, such persons who have been authorised by the Hirer to drive the Vehicle provided that they comply with Clause 6(B). Conditions under which permitted drivers are not entitled to drive the Vehicle include:
All our Vehicles are comprehensively insured. If you damage the Vehicle the following Damage Liabilities apply (subject to complying with the Terms and Conditions of the Rental Vehicle Agreement)
4WD Vehicles & Buses – The maximum amount payable in the event of damage is $6,600 per incident.
2WD Vehicles – The maximum amount payable in the event of damage is $3,300 per incident.
Trailers – The maximum amount payable in the event of damage is $1,550 per incident.
Yes! You can take out Damage Waiver Reduction to reduce the amount of damage you are liable for per incident. The rates below are for Recreational hire only, for Commercial rates, please request a quote.
4WD Vehicles & Buses – $22.00 per day for Intermediate Cover to reduce the Damage Liability to $3,300 per incident. $35.00 per day for Maxi Cover to reduce the Damage Liability to $1,100 per incident.
2WD Vehicles – $13.20 per day for Intermediate Cover to reduce the Damage Liability to $1,650 per incident. $24.20 per day for Maxi Cover to reduce the Damage Liability to $825 per incident.
Trailers – $4.40 per day to reduce the Damage Liability to $550 per incident.
Yes you can use your own insurance. A certificate of currency noting Commercial Fleet Rental Investments Pty Ltd t/a Fleet Crew as an interested party may be required.
Yes. For short-term hire there is a charge to remove our decals dependent on the Vehicle type and rental period. For long term hire there is no charge to remove our decals. It is fine to use your own decals on the vehicle however we do charge if any damage results from their removal at the end of the hire.
We have a team of reposition drivers and transport companies who can deliver the Vehicle(s) hired to your location anywhere within Australia. If the hire period is less than 180 days, charges include fees for the driver, accommodation, fuel and transport back to Brisbane. For periods over 180 days, talk to us and we can work with you to get the Vehicles to you in a timely and cost efficient manner. Please note, we do not deliver vehicles for recreational use.
For our commercial customers we have a 1-day minimum hire period. For our recreational customers we have a minimum 4 day hire period during Easter, a minimum 5 days during the Christmas / New Year period and a minimum 3 days at all other times. The daily hire rate for each vehicle is reduced the longer you hire the vehicle for. Therefore our long-term daily hire rates are much cheaper than our 1 day hire rate.
Our customers are never “locked in” to their hire agreements. You can return the Vehicle at any time with no hidden fees. You will simply be charged a higher daily rate equivalent to the time period you have hired the Vehicle for. For example, if you have hired the Vehicle for 60 days and return it early, the time you have had it for will be charged at a higher rate applicable to the actual hire period. Please note short term recreational use and private bookings are fixed term bookings and do not result in a refund if returned early.
We have unlimited kilometres for all our hire Vehicles. We like to keep it simple so that you don’t get any nasty surprises at the end of your hire.

If you’re travelling with young ones, we have both child safety and booster seats available for hire. For pricing and availability please contact our Reservations team. Please note we use a 3rd party specialist supplier of child seats and do not keep any seats on site, therefore all child seats must be booked well in advance. Child seats are only available from our Brisbane Branch.
When on long term hire, we keep in regular contact with you to monitor upcoming scheduled maintenance or to arrange repairs as required. When we identify the need to conduct servicing or repairs, we work with you to determine the most convenient time and location to the have the work carried out. If your vehicle is nearing its next service milage or requires maintenance, please phone our maintenance team during business hours on 1300 421 531. Please note, it is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure maintenance of the vehicle is carried out when due.
The number plates of all our hire Vehicles have been registered. We receive toll bills at the end of each month, which we then allocate to the appropriate customer. No hidden fees – there is no administration fee for this service. Please note, due to the monthly invoicing from the Toll provider, there are usually delays in these charges being allocated to customers.
We offer specific vehicles fitted with IVMS. Connectivity can be either NextG and/or Iridium Satellite. IVMS will be charged at an additional daily rate and includes all standard reporting requirements. Reports are distributed to the designated person approved by your company. Not all vehicles are fitted with IVMS, therefore If you require IVMS, please request this at the time of making the booking.
No (within reason). Our on-site workshops have washing bays where we will clean the vehicles to our stringent standards. We do have an expectation that vehicles will be returned in a satisfactory condition relevant to the purpose. If the vehicle is returned in an unsatisfactory condition we reserve the right to apply additional cleaning charges. Examples of an unsatisfactory condition include excessive mud, excessive dust inside the vehicle, and excessive odour from, for example a person smoking in the vehicle or from having animals in the vehicle.
We also request, if possible, that the recreational vehicles have an underbody wash to remove any saltwater to preserve the condition of our vehicles.
Yes. To ensure the safety of you and your passengers, the use of seatbelts is mandatory in Australia. Standard road rules apply when driving off road including on the beach, for example on K’gari (Fraser Island), Moreton Island or Stradbroke Island.
Our 4WD Vehicles are allowed off road following local regulations and on existing tracks.
Yes, our recreational 4WDs are permitted off road including the beach. The hirer is responsible for obtaining all relevant permits and obtaining information on the local regulations.

Definitely! We have a fleet of recreational vehicles fitted out to suit driving on the Islands and our vehicles are allowed on ferry crossings. The hirer is responsible for obtaining all relevant permits and obtaining information on the local regulations.
If you have an accident, after making sure everybody is okay, please give us a call on 1300 551 400 and follow all the normal necessary procedures to document the incident. We are here to assist and will work with you to make all the arrangements including towing if required. All our vehicles are registered with RACQ with 24 hour break down assistance coverage all over Australia.

Our vehicle booking allocations are constantly moving, therefore we are not able to provide an exact registration number prior to the pickup date. When phoning a ferry/barge company to make a booking, explain that you will be travelling in a hire vehicle and you will update the registration number upon pickup of the vehicle. If you are booking online you are often able to enter the registration as “Car Hire”
For vehicle access permits and camping permit bookings with Queensland National Parks, you can enter the vehicle make and model that you have booked and input “TBA” in the vehicle registration field. Once you have picked up your hire vehicle, you will be able to log in to your Queensland National Parks account and modify your booking with the correct registration number.
During the hire period, you (the Hirer) are responsible for the vehicle which means you are also responsible for any parking or traffic violations that may occur. Infringement notices will be transferred to the Hirer or Company name recorded on the booking.

We can complete Weed & Seed washes and provide Weed and Seed Certificates and/or Weed Hygiene Declarations for our customers’ Vehicles on site at our workshop in Enoggera, Brisbane.
